New for the 2015 Christmas Season, our beautiful Nativity Stable makes the perfect beginning for your family's Christmas Nativity Traditions.
Children love Christmas! And they love tradition. In our family one of our most special Christmas moments was when Mom would get out the handmade stable, take some hay from the barn and begin to unwrap the lovely porcelain figures and place them inside the stable. Children would crowd around, eyes aglow with the wonder of a long ago night in a far off land, when Christ came to earth as man, born in a stable, and laid in a manger.
Mom would place the electric window candles on either side, hang the straw angels above and we would watch in speechless delight as the candles went on and the tiny stable became a small world of magic and wonder.
Our new stable is handmade in your choice of pine or hardwood, with special attention to detail, it's softly curved lines creating an atmosphere of safety and serenity with which to receive the Prince of Peace. Especially designed for Ostheimer Figures, your child will love to watch as you begin a Family Christmas Tradition of bringing out the stable, and setting up the gorgeous Ostheimer figures inside.
The best part about Ostheimer Figures is that unlike our Nativity set when we were kids, the children can be involved in helping to set up the figures as each piece is sturdily crafted of solid maple or ash hardwood. It is a wonderful hands on experience.
Some families buy a large set and then bring out a new figure for each day of Advent. It's a wonderful alternative to traditional advent calendars!
